Instructor: Beth - PRO
Throughout the semester, students will learn the exciting game of American Mahjong in a fun, welcoming, and hands-on environment. We'll cover tile recognition, the Charleston, reading the National Mahjong League card, building hands, strategy, gameplay, and the etiquette that makes Mahjong such a wonderful social game.
Each class combines instruction with plenty of guided play, so students build confidence while learning to think strategically, solve problems, and encourage one another around the table. Along the way, we'll practice good sportsmanship, patience, and table manners—learning how to win graciously, lose gracefully, and make everyone feel welcome. My goal is simple: for every child to leave excited to play, confident enough to join a game with friends and family, and always looking forward to pulling up a chair at Beth's table.
*** This class must have at least 8 participants to run
